Phil Mickelson went for a backward, over-the-head flop shot at The Barclays, and it did not quite work out as planned.

Mickelson, who shot a 1-under 69 and is nine shots off the leaders at 2 under, went for the famed shot, but it came up just short and landed in a bunker. He went on to get up and down out of the bunker facing the correct direction and making par.
