VIDEO: Roger Clemens makes unbelievable par on island hole

So Roger Clemens can’t seem to get in the Baseball Hall of Fame at the moment. That’s tough, but at least he has a pretty robust golf game to enjoy.

Clemens, playing in the pro-am competition at the CareerBuilder Challenge, found himself in an incredible spot of bother Saturday at the 17th at PGA West’s TPC Stadium Course. A horrible tee shot actually went so bad he missed the water entirely. But that meant a dangerous pitch back over the water, and he seemed to at best be looking at a bogey.

But this is “The Rocket” we’re talking about. Instead, he produced a mind-boggling par.

Maybe Clemens isn’t in the Hall quite yet, but that up and down deserves to be in a hall of fame somewhere.
