Distance: 170 yards
Par: 3
Historic average: 3.15 (10th)
Buzz: The hole is at its easiest on Sunday when the flag is placed in a convex part of the back-left green. Balls hit to the right, safely away from the pond to the middle of the green, can trickle down the slope toward the hole. The hole is toughest when the pin is way right, usually on Saturday, against the high-side bunker. Players must hit a narrow plateau, with balls often running too far and leaving a nearly impossible bunker shot. Balls that don’t reach the plateau tumble back down a slope to the left, leaving a difficult two-putt.
