Brooks Koepka

OWGR: 4

Best British Open finish: T-6 (2017)

Last three British Opens: T-10, DNP, T-6

This season: Defended his U.S. Open title, finished second at Colonial and has played a limited schedule due to wrist issues. A valiant Players Championship (T-11) came after irritating the injured wrist in a freak driving range mishap.

Why he could win: His time in Europe and two U.S. Open wins on open, sometimes wind-swept courses suggests he’s a fan of links-style golf. Has achieved success this year despite the injury and mediocre strokes-gained stats. Gradual improvement in his British Open career suggests he’s comfortable with rota courses and setup.

Holding him back: Health. The U.S. Open win was merely his eighth start of 2018. With a game fueled by power, Koepka just needs to remain healthy and focused.
