Buzz: Casey capped a solid year with a T-11 finish last week, and his decision to re-join the European Tour specifically to play in this year’s Ryder Cup paid off. He withdrew from the BMW citing a back injury, so the fact that he played four good rounds at East Lake is a very positive sign for Thomas Bjorn’s squad.
