When Woods spent 281 straight weeks at No. 1, it broke his previous record for most consecutive weeks at No. 1, when he held the top spot for 264 straight weeks, from Aug. 15, 1999, to Sept. 4, 2004. Of course, Woods’ time at No. 1 might not be done. He is currently 13th in the world.
