The Big Cat was back, and I have to admit, it felt pretty good. The excitement was palpable and evident in the ratings, which were more typical of a major championship. “It’s just another world,” NBC anchor Dan Hicks said of the crowds following Woods. For all of the talk about golf’s terrific young players, this was another reminder that none of them approach Woods’ stature.
