Of the 10 on this list, this performance easily was his lowest finish on the final leaderboard (T-23). But context is needed. This was Woods’ first official PGA Tour event in his comeback, so there was some rust and nerves to shake off. It also became clear that his driving was in abysmal shape (he hit just 17 fairways all week). Yet, he clawed his way to a strong showing. Woods appeared he would miss the cut until a spirited 3-under 33 to close his second round allowed him to make the weekend on the number. He then battled his way up the leaderboard to a T-23 showing. Considering all the factors, it was pretty impressive.
