PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Europe Ryder Cup captain Padraig Harrington withdrew from the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Tuesday after testing positive for COVID-19.

The three-time major champion will have the PGA Tour’s full support throughout his self-isolation period under CDC guidelines, the Tour announced.

Sangmoon Bae replaces Harrington in the field.

Harrington hasn’t won since 2016 but remains one of the hardest working players in professional golf. He missed the cut in last week’s Waste Management Phoenix Open but made a run for victory in last week’s Omega Dubai Desert Classic on the European Tour last month before finishing in a tie for sixth.
