It’s the PGA Tour’s flagship event.
The 2023 Players Championship is staged at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. It’s the fourth designated event in five weeks in 2023, and it’s the biggest Tour event of the season to date.
The top three golfers in the Official World Golf Ranking, Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, were paired together for the first two rounds.
Rahm withdrew before the second round, McIlroy missed the cut after the second round and Scheffler was hoisting the trophy by Sunday night.
TPC Sawgrass is a par-72 layout measuring 7,256 yards. This is the 49th version of the Players Championship.
