The 2023 U.S. Women’s Open was historic, as the national championship was staged at Pebble Beach Golf Links for the first time.
There are currently three future USWO’s scheduled for the iconic locale, with the next return visit to the Monterey Peninsula coming in 2035.
The Open will also make two other futures stops in California at Riviera in 2026 and Los Angeles Country Club in 2032.
The U.S. Golf Association has announced future U.S. Women’s Open locations as far into the future as 2048 but there are several years with locations still to be announced.

In August 2021, the USGA awarded Merion the 2030 and 2050 U.S. Opens. In January 2022, the club landed its first two U.S. Women’s Opens. Merion will also host the 2022 Curtis Cup and the 2026 U.S. Amateur. Merion’s East Course, which was designed by Hugh Wilson, has hosted more USGA Championships than any course. Bobby Jones completed his grand slam at Merion in 1930.
